"Good morning March Madness Mammals!!! After an exciting round of the "same and different" division where the aardvark beat the bandicoot, and the flying snake upsets the greater glider we have updated scores! Sitting in third place with 19 points, we have last year's winner Brennen! In second place we have Dominik Ulrich with 20 points. And tied for first place with 21 points we have Kadence and Greer! To see how your bracket is doing, and whether you're beating the random coin flip bracket, check the standings in the high school hallway!"
The sophomore class is hosting a Beanie bunny contest. Guess who will win from the contestants, and test your luck at a candy basket at lunch, drawing is this Friday.
Trap Shooting Registration will close this Sunday, March 23rd. Make sure you are registered in time. No late registrations will be allowed. Practice starts on Tuesday, March 25th.
Happy National Agriculture week. Here is an Idaho Agriculture fun fact of the day: Idaho is the nation’s third largest cheese producer, meeting demands for Cheddar, Colby Jack, Mozzarella, and Italian style cheeses, Cream cheese, Cottage cheese, and pasteurized processed cheese. Over   800 million pounds of cheese is produced in Idaho  each year.

Mrs. Nelson's 7th period class, please go to the high school computer lab for class today. Thank you.
Tomorrow, Mrs. Nelson will be providing an after school study hall. This is for all JH and HS students who would like assistance with Math or English. The study hall will be from 3:00-5:00 pm and students can take the activity bus home or be picked up by parents at that time.
Jr. high track practice begins next Monday, March 24th after school.
Track photos will be next Thursday, March 27th after school. See the flyers in the hallway or on social media to find out how to order.

There will be a student council meeting at 2:30 in Nap's room today.
Have you turned in your permission slip for the lock in? Please get it turned in before the end of the day, thank you. There will be sports activities at the lock in, sign up at the table by the office.
The Juniors are having a 50:50 raffle next Monday, March 17th @ noon. Buy a ticket for $5 from a junior to enter, the person with the most green wins! 
Next week is National Agriculture Week!  To celebrate, we're going to have some dress-up days! 
Monday 3/17: Wear Green (there is also a Junior Class Fundraiser this day!)
Tuesday 3/18: Dress as a Farm Animal or favorite food
Wednesday 3/19: Dress as a farmer 
Thursday 3/20: Dress as your favorite teacher
Friday 3/21: FFA Colors ("National Blue" and "Corn Gold")
JH and HS Students are you interested in learning about the forestry industry? Would you like to put your skills to the test and participate in a forestry competition at Farragut State Park? Mrs. Moore-Rich will be putting on practices after school from 3-5 PM. Get with her to learn more about this opportunity. You do not have to be in FFA or take her class to do this.

The Yearbook Class is holding a Cover-Design Competition, where students can submit their artwork for a chance to be displayed on the cover of this year's Yearbook!  All submissions would be due by the end of March; see Mr. Stroh for how to apply!
Students, "Read to Win"  with the North Idaho State Fair is offering a free admission ticket to any student who reads for 15 days. Forms are being passed out today. Once your form is filled out, please return to the office in order to receive your ticket. The North Idaho State Fair takes place in August from the 15th-24th in Coeur d'Alene.
"Happy Friday March Mammal Madness players. After the first round of roots and relicts there has been some upsets in the leaderboard. The platypus was knocked out by the Asian Forest Tortoise. Currently there is a three way tie between Kadence, Brennen, and Noah Castles with 14 points. To see how your bracket is doing, check the leaderboard in the high school hallway!"
